Vatican recognizes genetic manipulation a sin:
In the Vatican’s latest update on how God’s law is being violated in today’s world, Monsignor Gianfranco Girotti, the head of the Apostolic Penitentiary, was asked by the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano what, in his opinion, are the “new sins.”
He cited “violations of the basic rights of human nature” through genetic manipulation, drugs that “weaken the mind and cloud intelligence,” and the imbalance between the rich and the poor.

I used to be an active member of the Catholic church but I left. They are the biggest bunch of hypoctites on the planet. How can any official in the church, priest up to pope speak against sin & not acknowledge the terrible history & present condition of the Catholic church, especially her clergy. Jesus spoke scathing denouncements of the religious leaders of his day many times. His words apply even more so to the religious leaders of today, (not just catholics but protestants too)
